This is a picture taken by hubby's old 8310. It is the Bold 1 next to the 8900.

8900/9700 are FANTASTIC for memory, but their keyboards are so little. I needed a bigger keypad.

Downside to the 9000- the memory is notsogood.

BUT! When you upgrade if you use Shrink-A-Os by Lyricidal, you can save up to 34mb's! Fab!

Sent the 9700 off w/ a semi tearful goodbye. And ya know what? I REALLY hate my 8900. I tried going back to the original curve last night. Uhm. No.

I have an s2 due in on Wednesday(Thx Steph!)so we will see if that helps the hands and my bbm'ing. I'm tired and I hurt, and I didn't do a damn thing today. YAY ME!

Abandon ship!

Can you believe it? I am actually thinking of becoming a phone whore instead of a bb whore. Crazy huh? I'm just not feeling the bb love anymore. I don't know why? Just- bleh. That, and my hands hurt like a MF, so possibly not being on it will help.

So, I will do a test run of a week w/o a bb( I have TWO!) and we will see then what happens. I have to find a non smart phone first lol

If I do go through w/ this, I have at least ten cases to go w/ the 9700(ATT, Y'all!), which I will sell for 250/plus shipping. Just an FYI... we shall see!

Oh- I will prob make a theme here and there, but unfortunately, between the hands and uber hypocrits, it will be nice to be away for a bit. Will let ya know when I have started my experiment. Gotta find a phone first :)

After a much needed break...

Here I go again making themes. I don't know if the those who DON'T make themes really KNOW what goes into them. A lot of time, love and figuring stuff out. But mostly time and love. I can't wait to be theming again. So, check back, I will be posting themes soon :)

Once a BB whore..

I will always be a BB whore. I love Vera II(Free theme for whoever guesses why I named her that! Okay, whoever I DIDN'T TELL. ;) )

And Vera's been there, and she's trusty. I will still be around. I will still occasionally theme. I love my BB friends, what can I say- who is better than a BB owner? (Bah @ you droid turncoats! YOU WILL BE BACK!!!)

I just need a break. My body is telling me to take one, so I am sure, if you REALLY, REALLY luv meh- you will understand.

I've had not one, but count 'em TWO bouts of sever bronchitis in two weeks. I still have the germs if someone wants me to email them this crap. I have four kids. And for those of you who have kids, you will get that they take up a lot of time. This being sick w/ bronchitis, and chronic pain and and and, has really taken a toll on me, and to be honest- there's a lot more going around than my bronchitis. If you get it, then you REALLY get it.

That being said- I will still blog from my BB. Too bad you can't theme from there! No, wait.. bad idea.

I'm going to take it easy. Let some BS die down. And on that rare occasion, I may theme. But for now, me, and the fam come first. I may have you on BBM, so you probably won't get a chance to miss me! ;)

OMG!

Did I tell everyone I got a 9700? CRAZY! I know, I am such a crazy girl. Crazy w/ MAD skills. Ha!

I finally made my first storm theme, too. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Why can't ATT have Storms? I would SO buy one of those.

Can I tell you about my hissy fit? no! Don't leave yet. I'd like you to read this.

My hissy was about my bb. I have chronic pain disease(s) and I get just so tired, pain, swollen etc, I wanted to JUST LEAVE IT HOME. Gasp, right? No kidding. I even threatened to get a NON smart phone. I know, a Rebel. That's moi! I mean really, I keep my phone around so much since I have four kids and well, there's the hubby, too.

But do I REALLY need to keep in touch w/ the world 24-7? No. And it keeps blinging. ARGH!

What started this whole deal is about themes. IF you don't know what a theme is- why are you here? This about me being a bb whore, McFly!

Most people, especially NON- themers, don't know what goes into a theme. Sometimes hours. YES HOURS. Sometimes, DAYS if it is an especially detailed theme. My very first theme took me a week to do. Second a day, third, two days because by then, I'd been networking and I had gotten new stuff for theming.

So, non themers, when a theme is FREE, it really isn't. That is time we didn't spend doing housework, playing w/ the kids, getting our groove on w/ our significant other, or WORKING.

We do the themes because we LOVE them- we LOVE our blackberry's and gasp- we like to share.

All the bitching and moaning because your device model isn't there, or because one themer makes fun of another, or one completely rips off a friend themer- it's all so ridiculous.

It's so ridiculous I am taking a break til this kind of shit stops.

I haven't gotten much off of doing themes- which is OK. I've been told thank you, your theme is great. THAT'S why I got into this. Not for the greed. Greed breeds many monsters.

So, remember, when downloading a theme, and you aren't able to donate- please, take the time your themer took for you, and email them THANK YOU. Make sure it doesn't include a laundry list of what was wrong w/ it.

Not just in theming, but in LIFE, being thankful and ungreedy goes a LONG way.

If you know me, I'm a case and theme whore. I'm uploading some short reviews with pictures(taking forever..) That said I'm doing another review on my 'barely there' by Case-mate.com . I had a few for my 8900- and figured I'd buy the teal/black gradient($29) for my 9700. What happened to the quality? It barely(haha) covers/protects the corners like they did on my 8900. Pretty color- shoddy work for almost $30! That said, they send a cover for your screen with each case you buy. Disclaimer: NOT a paid review- I bought these with my own hard earned $. And am dearly disappointed :(

Darnit, I hit enter instead of just babbling on. So, since you've been waiting patiently for my "what!?" Here it is: I got a 9700/Bold dos! Yay! I had an 8900/Javelin but this keyboard is better- albeit smaller. I'm hitting the $ key 99% less! Yay for fezig singers! I'd like to introduce you to Bikerchickbb( watch out, she'll cut a bitch! Hahah- if you knew/know her you'd be LOL too ;) ) she makes FAB themes and has taught me SO much! Also we have Sinful Gemini- great girl and total blackberry lovah! Hopefully we can get whore posts out of them ;) end of this post- but I am uploading to the next one,ok, two- of my fave cases!

Didja miss me? I missed you! Nah, I didn't lose my precious BB, that I have named "VERA". For you scifi Firefly/Serenity BrownCoats out there (Yo! Whatup @NathianFillion!No, that isn't Mal- but Jayne! EEk!) I don't need to go on any further.

Then there is the rest of ya ;) I named her Vera for role she plays:

So, now you know why I named her Vera, which is completely off course of where the hell I've been!

Gawd, I wish I had this great story of how I ran off w/ Mr. Big (Yo! Who watches that bytch Millionaire Matchmaker?) but no.

Most of you may know by now I have chronic pain problems, migraines and whatever the frak else. Well, me and my FAT FEZIG FINGERS that hurt and were so swollen I couldn't type on my BB.

I'm an awful whore..

I've tried to do the whole mobile blogging thang- ya know, from my BLACKBERRY. And it isn't working for me right now. ARGH! I will get this.. I WILL CONQUER and be the whore that I really am.

That must have been SOME par-tay last night!!! My head is pounding and I can barely see WITH my glasses on. That, and the house is a freakin' mess. Hoooo-weee!

Wait. Ah, yeah. It was just yet another migraine. Jealous- I know each and everyone of you was/is/are..whatever. It's 6:50am. Please don't expect coherence.

That being said, I won't have much time today to make themes- I may post one that I made a while back using a couple of @crzsunshines wallies, and a couple of my own I found in the vastness of the web.

OH! BLACKBERRY THEMERS! Yeah, you know who you are! Why bother spending hours doing such great work to leave it unfinished WITH A STOCK FREAKING HOURGLASS? CHANGE IT! Sheesh.

GREAT IDEA! I know! I will take all of my old themes from waaaaaaay back when I first started posting my themes (okay, it was only last summer) and I would freshen them up a bit.

berrybestthemes.blogspot.com Is my very firstest theme blog. And I look back and I think I have improved a bit. But to freshen ALL of those up? Let's just say, one day at a time. They may be older, but once I give them a spiffyin' up- I will post them here. My new home.

No, they won't be NEW, per se- but they will have a lot MORE, thanks to @BikerChickbb. She's just rocking the themes AND photoshop! Which, sadly is not my forte.

So, as far as this great idea goes- it will go slowly. Mainly because I like making spiffy brand new SHINY themes. Which I have some in the works, and I do hope you will bear w/ me. Four kids and medical problems- sometimes..something has to give. But don't think I won't be carrying my BB w/ me!

And I LOVE searching for themes! And cases. Oh, my. Yes, as obsessed as I am w/ my bb- I am even more so the case matches the theme.

It doesn't exist, so therefore I blog. And yes, I WILL be blogging from my BB. My lovely Javelin(8900 Curve). This is my second blackberry phone, and guess what? I want another! We shall see what ATT has in store for me in March :)

Yes, I will be talking about blackberry's, but also twitter, posting themes, fixing little quirks on my older themes and reposting, and talking about my family. To you, my kids shall be called 1,2,3 and 4. My WHOLE life doesn't have to be out there, right? Just part..

That said, I want you to know I am sporadic w/ my themes. Oh, Why? You ask? Because I can! No, in all honesty- between family, and my chronic pain problems(whole body deal, fibromyalgia, possibly rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthitis AND migraine problems) I am amazed I get done what I DO get done!

That said, welcome to my world! Kick off your shoes, grab a cup of hot tea and let's all talk blackberry!
